Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya experienced pain during the Super 4s clash against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup, and the injury appears serious, as he was ruled out of the final against Pakistan.

Hardik, who opened the bowling against Sri Lanka, conceded 7 runs and took one wicket. However, he couldn’t continue on the field and left for the dressing room. Despite bowling coach Morkel’s assurance that Hardik would undergo scans, it was confirmed he would miss the Asia Cup 2025 final.

Rinku Singh replaced Hardik in the playing XI and played a crucial role by scoring the winning runs to help India clinch the trophy against Pakistan.
