Jasprit Bumrah has reportedly confirmed that he will be available for the Asia Cup 2025, starting September 9 in the UAE. According to The Indian Express, the fast-bowler has already given his confirmation to the selectors that he is ready to play the tournament.
The Indian selection committee, headed by Ajit Agarkar, will meet on August 19 to pick the Asia Cup squad. With Bumrah declaring himself fit, he is expected to lead India’s pace attack.
India will begin their campaign against the UAE on September 10. The marquee match against Pakistan is scheduled for September 14 in Dubai. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side will face Oman on September 19. India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman are in Group A, while Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong form Group B.

With Jasprit Bumrah declaring his availability, his inclusion is almost certain.
"Bumrah has informed the selectors that he will be available for the Asia Cup selection. The selection committee will meet and discuss it when they meet next week," a source said as quoted to The Indian Express.
Bumrah’s availability is a major boost for head coach Gautam Gambhir and Suryakumar. India’s pace attack has looked stronger with him leading the new ball and conditions in the UAE are likely to support seamers under lights.

Jasprit Bumrah's Workload Management in England Test Series
The 31-year-old pacer was part of India’s plans for only three of the five Tests. He played in Headingley, Lord’s and Manchester but was released from the squad midway through the fifth Test at The Oval.
The management had made it clear that he would be rotated for workload reasons. Bumrah bowled 119.4 overs in the series and picked two five-wicket hauls. Some former players questioned why he did not play all five Tests.
